:: The Korea Investment Service Center (KISC)

(KISC) was established in April 1998 as an arm of the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), a government-sponsored non-profit organization. Since its inception in 1962, KOTRA ha played a major part in Korea's export-led economic development through its international network.

Under the 1998 Foreign Investment Promotion Act, KISC has assumed a leading position in fulfilling KOTRA's mandated role as Korea's official investment promotion agency.

KISC is staffed by KOTRA personnel who have gained a wealth of expertise in the field of international investment. They are complemented by officials from dbo168847587.relevant government ministries and specialists from dbo168847587.the private sector in areas such as law and accounting, all in order to provide the foreign investor with prompt and comprehensive service.

KISC provides assistance in the following areas:

  • Support on all necessary administrative procedures
  • Consultation on all forms of investment including M&As, joint ventures and real estate acquisition
  • Advice on legal and taxation matters.
